On 23 September 2017, Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 Pham Thuy Trang presented at Kim Boi – Hoa Binh and together with the athletes participated in the Running Event Vietnam Green Journey in the Clean Up the World Campaign 2017.
The Vietnam Green Journey on 23 September 2017 was organized by the Vietnam Environment Administration in collaboration with the Project Management Unit ” Demonstration application of best available technical method (BAT) and best environmental experience (BEP) in outdoor combustion to implement the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP)”, to mobilize people to reduce open burning activities, to promote the implementation of 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
With the slogan “Let’s stop open burning”, the Vietnam Green Journey Running Event program mobilized people and communities to minimize and stop the burning of straw and agricultural residues, burning garbage and spontaneous combustion in garbage dumps, stop using waste incinerators that do not meet emission standards, especially in recycling craft villages.
Miss Sea Vietnam Pham Thuy Trang, the special guest of “Green Vietnam Journey”, participated the Event with more than 500 people including officials of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Hoa Binh People’s Committee, and citizens in Hoa Binh province. Choosing herself jeans, white T-shirt, and dynamic bata shoes, Pham Thuy Trang was quite excited when invited to participate in this meaningful activity.
After finishing the running session, the beauty also was the MC for the Lucky Draw Session and found 20 winners for the “Green Vietnam Journey” program.
Sharing about the program, the beauty hoped that these activities had brought the messages of “Stop open burning” and “3Rs implementation” to the people, to achieve a cleaner environment.
