Facing the increasingly polluted rural environment, Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province has bravely applied research and put into use domestic waste incinerator according to NFi-05 technology. After a period of application, the model has clearly shown its effectiveness, very suitable for the treatment of domestic waste in rural areas in the area.
Currently, the treatment of waste in rural areas in the district is still conducted by manual burial, many places lack of landfill of unused waste, making the environment increasingly polluted. Responding directly to the lives and health of rural people. There are localities that make use of ponds, lakes and low-lying areas to dump waste, form spontaneous landfills, fail to ensure technical processes, pollute surface and groundwater sources, etc.
After the study, Cam Khe district has piloted the investment in installing a waste incinerator with natural air NFi-05, the product is manufactured in Thailand, using Japanese technology, with a capacity of 5 tons of burning. rubbish / day. Location for implementing the project in Ben Cang area, Song Thao town, Cam Khe district, on an area of ​​2,464m2. The project has a total investment of VND 3.35 billion, of which the provincial budget supports VND 2.85 billion and the district budget of VND 500,000 million. The cost of buying waste burning equipment is VND 2.35 billion, the rest is spent on building frame houses, concreting rubbish dumps, roads to landfills, building operating houses, leveling land and ground clearance. .

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Cam Khe district, the NFi-05 furnace has many advantages of not using electricity, gas or petroleum to operate but using dry waste, nylon as bait (combined with other furnaces). Regulating valves are designed to regulate the flow in the incinerator. When burning, the temperature in the furnace can reach 650 degrees C to 1,000 degrees Celsius to help waste burn quickly (including wet waste) and does not generate smoke. This type of furnace uses two-layer combustion technology, the first layer when new waste is put into burning in the first combustion chamber, the unburnt waste, ash, dust and gases are transferred to the secondary gas chamber. 2. Here, the waste is burned again to eliminate toxic gases, odors, wastes, smoke …. without affecting the environment.
In particular, the incinerator has the ability to burn continuously 24 hours a day, the energy of the waste generated during the burning process can keep warm for a period of 1-1.5 days, so this energy will be recycled. Used to burn the newly added waste without having to set a furnace. The rate of rubbish is completely burnt, reaching 80-85% of the volume (the rest is some inorganic waste such as glass, bricks, stones … not burned). The furnace uses protective and insulating materials so the temperature rarely escapes from the furnace shell to ensure safety, creating favorable conditions for operators to work.
After nearly 2 months of trial operation, the current treatment capacity reaches about 4 tons of waste per day. After the incinerator went into stable operation, the capacity has increased to a maximum of 5 tons / day, initially resolving the pressing issues on waste treatment, bringing the landscape and fresh environment for the district.
The model of natural gas incinerator NFi-05 successfully applied in Cam Khe district is very suitable to the conditions of villages and communes in Phu Tho. In order to improve the rural environment, contribute to speeding up the process of building a new countryside, the model of rural household incinerators using natural air in Phu Tho province should continue to be replicated.
